seems to heat well, but water heater arrived with a broken heating element; unusual for something that's brand new. had to have Rheem send new parts and schedule the plumber to come back again - big inconvenience

Bought this water for a very small half bath. Works well in sink area, but I do not think I would use it of shower, I don't think you will be able to get enouth hot water flow. Over all I think it is a good product.

This unit is not much more capable of heating a cup of coffee. STIR CLEAR OF THIS ONE and go for the 220 volt models. Work much better.

I have used this for 9 years to heat hot water in a small vacation rental apartment. It just stopped working and may buy another one. It gave hot water for the shower and bath sink and kitchen sink. The apartments accomodatesup to 4 people. We are near the beach so people take lost of showers.

The heating element burned out after a year, and a new element is not available as a replacement part, so the unit is junk. Save yourself from the headache and stay away from this brand.

I LOVE THIS!! No more running out gallons of water waiting for the water to get warm. The cost in electricity is very minimal, too. If we can get another one we plan to do so and add it to one of our bathrooms.

The flow is very low to get hot water. At .25gpm is enough to hand wash dishes but not enough for anything else. The installed wasn't as user friendly. The 30amp requirement was far greater than the typical 15amp breaker can handle. I use the unit to supplied hot water to a utility sink in the back patio 80ft away from the secondary breaker. The outdoor outlet supplied 120v using 12awg wires at 15amp. I installed another outlet using 10awg wires with a 30 amp breaker. Overall, it enough to fit my needs but the application is limited.
