Before we had a water heater that only held 15 Gallons. That makes for 1 load of dishes, or one 10 minute hot shower. You can imagine my delight to have endless hot water. The only downfall we found is that we had to replace the breaker to the trailer because if we ran anything with the tankless, it would flip the breaker because our previous one was too small. The first was for my home and the 2nd for my carriage house. Before buying Stiebel hot water heaters, I purchased a different brand -- AND had a terrible experience. Stiebel is definitely the way to go if you need an electric tankless hot water heater. And I've had no problems with the Distributor. During the 1st purchase, the sales person on the phone was very friendly and helpful. The second purchase was facilitated online and delivered on time... This heats water in the dead of a Colorado winter to a dual-head shower without difficulty. It also is triggered by a lower flow rate than maybe all of its competitors such that a half opened faucet gets hot water. It's water supply is the hot water line from the water heater in the basement, so after 2-3minutes the load on it drops significantly. It's been in use a year now without issue in our master bath. |
